These two lovely ladies are Megan’s friends Leah and Skye. She worked with Tova Designs to create Skye’s pageant dress and shoes shown here. Skye wanted a sort of mermaid look using the fish scale Lycra as the main fabric and a mermaid silhouette.

The dress Megan created for Leah shown here was a chance for her to have creative freedom. Leah gave Megan the fabrics, and allowed her to make all the creative decisions. It is very difficult for drag queens to find runway ready garments, so they often fabricate their own looks, or find designers to create custom looks for them. Megan loves working with her queens, it’s such a wonderful community, and it has given her the chance to learn about the fabrication of performance garments.
